Really nice to come to New York and be in an attractive room with a great view and lovely linens. The staff was great as well.
The Ace Hotel is a great place to stay. we had a nice room and great service. We wanted a place close to our daughter's Brooklyn apartment and easy access to Manhattan. It is also walking distance to some great restaurants, Fort Green Park, the Brooklyn Museum and Botanical gardens and BAM.
Had early check in and it was ready for us at 10:40.
I’ve stayed here several times and enjoy the trendy atmosphere and friendly vibe. There’s a small art gallery in a corner, music in the expansive lounge/bar area, a sushi restaurant and comfortable bedrooms. The Skyview bedrooms are best. There’s a Nordic feel to the furnishings with a low bed, plain wood, stone in simple shapes. Well stocked minibar, bathrobe, contemporary artwork. The mattress is harder than I would like but the bedding is high quality. Subway entrance is a block away and hotel is in the heart of downtown Brooklyn. Near to BAM, Barclays Center. Subway noise from below but upper floors pretty quiet.

I would stay again.
We have stayed at the hotel so many times (our place of choice) that I immediately knew Marc at the front desk and he remembered me. He gave us the best service possible making us feel at home. We were able to get into a room at a great time for us. I am very picky and I love the pillows, sheets and comforter. I was so glad to see Marc again making everyone feel at home. We will be back and we look forward to the new restaurant too.
The place is an over priced! Mill and nobody seems to be in charge. A lot of I understand and sorry and no results. Just processing payments and not building loyal customers. The house of one and done !
